She started her research in the first half of 2006. She published an experimental thesis on the reproductive effects of patients with diabetes mellitus. Since 2005 she has conducted numerous researches in the field of male infertility: oxidative stress and reproductive function; hypogonadism (hypergonadotropic, hypogonadotropic and late-onset hypogonadism); S. of Klinefelter; varicocele; cryptorchidism; erectile dysfunction; premature ejaculation; inflammation of the genitourinary tract (male accessory gland infections, MAGI); benign prostatic hypertrophy and correlation with metabolic diseases; correlation between lifestyles (cigarette smoking, alcohol consumption, mobile telephony, air pollution) and alterations of conventional and biofunctional sperm parameters; correlation between metabolic diseases (diabetes, obesity) and alterations of conventional and biofunctional sperm parameters; endothelial dysfunction, endothelial pro-genitor cells (EPC) and erectile dysfunction; ultrasound parameters of male accessory sexual glands; polycystic ovary syndrome.
