Born in Reggio Calabria (Italy) on 24th November 1973. University Degree in Medicine (110/110 and laude) at the University of Messina (Italy) in 1998. Residency in Internal Medicine (50/50 and laude) at the University of Messina (Italy) in 2003. Course of Specialization in “Vascular diagnostics and Phlebology” (50/50 and laude) University of Messina (Italy) in 2006. Doctorate of Research (Ph.D.) in “Experimental and clinical nephrology at the University of Messina (Italy) in 2008. Since February 2009 researcher in Internal Medicine (Med/09) at the University of Catania (Italy). Since January 2022 Associate Professor in Internal Medicine. Scientific Affiliations: Italian Society of Internal Medicine (SIMI). Italian Society of Osteoporosis, Mineral Metabolism and Bone Diseases (SIOMMMS).Head of the Regional Center for Osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases.
