Learning Objectives

• DIETOTHERAPY IN DIFFERENT STAGES OF LIFE

  The course aims increase knowledge of the pathophysiological mechanisms of endocrine and metabolic disorders correlated to the different stages of life and the role of diet in their prevention and treatment.

  The student at the end of the course will be able to know and use the RDAs and nutrition guidelines for neonatal, infant, pregnancy and adulthood. You must also be able to formulate a food plan for the general population (childhood, gestational period and adulthood) and for for the main pathologies that can arise in childhood, during pregnancy and adulthood.

• ENDOCRINOLOGY

  The course aims to deepen the knowledge on the pathophysiological mechanisms of the main endocrine-metabolic diseases correlated to pregnancy and in some clinical conditions of adulthood and the role of diet in their prevention and treatment.

• GINECOLOGIA ED OSTETRICIA

  It allows to understand which diseases may arise due to improper eating habits for the stage of life that the woman crosses and remedy or implement the right prevention.

  Nutrition in child and adolescent
  Nutrition in diabetic or obese pregnant
  Obesity in children and adolescents
  Allergy and food intolerance
  Dietary therapy of celiac disease

• ENDOCRINOLOGY

  - Pathophysiology of thyroid and iodine intake

  - Diabetes and pregnancy

  - Menopause

  - Calcium metabolism and osteoporosis

  - Pathophysiology of ovarian diseases and Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)

• GINECOLOGIA ED OSTETRICIA

  The course of pregnancy and food needs; - Infectious diseases foodborne pregnant; - Integration of the DHA repercussions pregnant; - Alccol and Pregnancy; - Thyroid and pregnancy, repercussions on the mother and fetus; gestational diabetes, effects on the mother and fetus; - Ovary micropolycystic, metabolic syndrome, nutrition; - Amenorrhea and anorexia; - Endometriosis and power; Endometrial cancer and dietary risk factors;
