Expected Learning Outcomes

Assessment and knowledge of the main aspects related to the psychiatric examination and the psychopathological features of psychiatric disorders.

Knowledge of the main diagnostic frameworks in psychiatry, with the ability to perform differential diagnosis and to design therapeutic programs, both psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutic.

 Understanding of the organizational models of community-based psychiatric care

Course Structure

Lectures complemented by interactive discussions on clinical cases. In the event that the course is delivered online, appropriate adjustments may be made with respect to what was previously indicated, in order to ensure compliance with the program outlined in the syllabus.

Basic notions of neuropsychopharmacology. Understanding of the main medical conditions related to psychiatric disorders
