Learning Objectives

  • Endocrinology

To know the pathophysiological mechanisms, the principles of diagnosis and therapy of endocrine diseases and of the metabolism indicated in the program with particular reference to the implications linked to nutrition and lifestyle.

  • Pharmacology

The aim of this course is the knowledge for the general mechanisms of drugs action, the principles of pharmacokinetics, the adverse effects and the more important pharmacological interactions. After completing this module, students gain understanding the main pharmacological and pharmacotherapeutic mechanisms of different classes of drugs.

  • NUTRITION IN METABOLIC, CARDIOVASCULAR AND RENAL DISEASES

To provide knowledge for nutritional and therapeutic management of patients with metabolic, cardio-vascular and kidney diseases.

Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus.
