Classic structures and experimental ones. Cinema, theatre, photography and television in relation to psychotherapy. THEATRE: A timeline of theatre. Theatre and psychotherapy: main movements. Case studies. CINEMA: The structure and the visual grammar of films. Cinema and psychotherapy. “Blade Runner”: film analysis. PHOTOGRAPHY: Epistemological status and main issues. Photography and psychotherapy. The concept of "truth" in photography. Mimesis and diegesis, fiction and non-fiction. Hyperreality. TELEVISION AND NEW MEDIA: Television portraying reality: main issues. Television in the 50s-70s. Television in the 80s-90s. Contemporary television. The new media: main issues.
